First week of the project and we manage to scope out some initial ideas for the project, such as the premise, the structure, platforms, audience interaction, references...

The pilot structure is set in detail. We finally have the VO to base our animatic on. Characters are done digitally. Scripts for the following investigations are under construction.

We have finally broken ground in the animation process as scenes 1 and 2 are now fully animated. Content for the Pitch Bible is also being completed. 

The keyposing phase is officially removed for more time to do innbetweens. We also started the coloring phase and polished the soundtrack some more. 

Concept development continues as more of the story is explored, and a core story is established.

Characters are conceptualized with complex personalities and motives.

This week we have drafted a pipeline and made significant progress on sound recording, as well as began experimenting with other characters plot lines 

More character concept design is made. Moving towards animating scene 3 and revising Animatic 2. Hard lessons about money are learnt and out first budget is drafted. 

With deadlines closing in, we finished in-betweens and colored scenes. Credit sequence and the hook of our final pitch are conceptualized. The soundtrack is finalized. 

The core storyline is set, and adapted for the pilot episode. More research and first versions of the script, VO recording and character designs are made (and revised multiple times).  

The remaining characters’ step outlines are finalized. Concept drawings for all the characters as well as backgrounds and the series color script is underway. 

We finished key-posing and in-betweening the first three scenes. Some progress was made for the overall music and sound FX tracks. Initial ideas for intro was drafted.

All scenes are colorized and assembled with the intro and credit sequence. Subtitles are finalized. We finally head to the final milestone of this course - The Pitch!
